Independent pharmacies have long been cornerstones of Colorado’s communities — especially in rural areas where we often serve as the only point of care for miles. We don’t just fill prescriptions — we know our patients by name, follow their stories, and help them navigate their health journeys. But for years, small pharmacies like mine have been fighting to stay afloat in a system designed to push us out.
