Opinion Editorial: Pharmacy Benefit Managers Are Not Conservative

A recent opinion editorial in the National Review, highlighted the fallacies of recent ads placed by Pharmacy Benefit Managers claiming that their, “ practices are fiscally conservative and promote budgetary discipline in D.C.” But the authors caution readers, “not to be fooled.”


The article continues, “Plainly stated: PBMs inhibit access to effective medicines and often work against a patient’s interest by failing to provide lower-cost products.
